The Clipper Cafe
A key part of our sustainable food journey is supplying our own eatery The Clipper Cafe in the neighbouring village of Shaldon where our delicious home produced bacon, eggs and pork often feature on the menu.
RSPB
At Deane Farm we also rent land that forms part of the RSPB Labrador Bay nature reserve. Working closely with the organisation throughout a 28 year wild bird collaboration has enabled us to create habitat for the rare species Cirl Buntings, increasing the number of breeding pairs from 100 to over 1000.
Luscombe's Farm Shop
Luscombe’s Farm Shop in Stokeinteignhead is stocked full with locally grown seasonal vegetables, fruit, eggs, jams and chutneys. Malcolm and Jason’s family run business rents land from Deane Farm to grow their produce and the requirement for a fresh area each year supports the Deane Farm rotation by providing a break from cereals. This enables us to be less reliant on pesticides and work towards achieving our regenerative goals.
Amelia's Flower Farm
Amelia’s Flower Farm is a family run cut flower and floristry business based in Combeinteignhead. Deane Farm works with Amelia and her husband Giles through providing machinery hire and space for mixing the manure and compost needed to grow their beautiful fresh flowers.
